In January 2018 Playmates Toys is going to release a new versions of the classic 80's Voltron lions. You may probably remember the old anime or maybe you are watching the new series but i bet you will be ready to activate interlocks, connect your dynotherms, get your infracells up and those megathrusters will be go!
This time we are dealing with the most advanced Voltron ever: over 60 sounds to unlock by combining all 5 Classic Legendary Lions to form a 16" Classic Voltron. Features phrases and sound effects from the show and the Voltron's chest lights up too.
The Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow Lions include jaw blades and projectile firing battle accessories.
The Red Lion comes with Voltron’s sword and the Green Lion comes with Voltron’s shield, get ready to scream "Form Blazin Sword!". The Black Lion has over a dozen sounds and phrases.
The members of the Voltron Force each were assigned to their own Lion, which was hidden in a den suited to each Lion’s power. Keith, the commander, was assigned to the Black Lion (head and torso of Voltron) which came right through the top of the Castle of Lions. Sven (for 6 episodes), then Princess Allura (for all the rest), was the Blue Lion (right leg of Voltron) which rose from the waters of the castle moat. Lance was the pilot of the Red Lion (right arm of Voltron) which appeared from his den below an active volcano. Hunk was the Yellow Lion (left leg of Voltron) pilot which emerged from a den within a mountain and Pidge, the tiny genius wearing big glasses who piloted the Green Lion, whose den was deep in the forest. Together they would form the Lion Force which would fight and defeat the evil King Zarkon and his son, Prince Lotor, from Planet Doom.

Every lion is sold separately and will be available in all major retailers beginning in January 2018 (USA) and February 2018 (EU). Recommended age is 4+ and the price for the Blue, Green, Red and Yellow Classic Legendary Lion will be of 17,99$ - 20€ each, 29,99$ - 35€ for the Black Classic Legendary Lion that comes in a big cardboard box.
